The NeuroVIZR Experience

NeuroVIZR – The Device
The NeuroVIZR is a comfortable, wearable Light headset that combines with any Sound headphones. It is controlled by a smartphone-based app and is rechargeable, lightweight, and entirely portable.
NeuroVIZR Light/Sound experiences are sourced from the Lucid TUNES web-based server through short WiFi actions and transferred via a rapid Bluetooth “flash” transfer. Once enabled, the NeuroVIZR operates completely without reliance on an internet connection.
NeuroVIZR – The Experience
The NeuroVIZR Experience is an eyes-closed, open-minded encounter in consciousness. It can feel as though hidden rooms within the brain reveal long-lost treasures.
Each NeuroVIZR “composition” has its own theme or “vector”, designed to coax the mind toward an attractive “probability state.” It represents a blend of a highly personal new art form and contemporary neuroscience.
NeuroVIZR – Sensory Enrichment
The brain remains capable of changing and adapting throughout adulthood. This capacity is known as neuroplasticity. Experience-based plasticity is described as supporting powerful, positive, and long-lasting benefits for the brain.
The NeuroVIZR Experience delivers a wide range of unique Light/Sound stimulations intended to create Sensory Enrichment and induce strong responses in the brain.
NeuroVIZR – Brain Engagement
The brain responds reliably to regular and repeated stimulation through what is commonly described as the Frequency Following Response, or “Brain Entrainment.”
NeuroVIZR builds upon this capacity and extends beyond regular stimulation through numerous dynamic, high-functioning signaling characteristics. This approach is described as Brain Engagement.
Music itself provides an analogy: it is far more than a regular beat. If rhythm alone were enough, a metronome would be the only musical instrument necessary.
NeuroVIZR – The Experience
The essence and benefits of the NeuroVIZR Experience can be difficult to describe. It has been described as a “brain dance of Light and Sound”—attractive, satisfying, and inviting further exploration.
The Experience can be viewed as Creative Entertainment, Consciousness Exploration, or Sensory Exercise. Like dancing provides exercise for the body, the NeuroVIZR Experience is presented as an exercise for the brain.
NeuroVIZR – First Language
Communication involves the sharing of information, and sharing requires a language. The concept of the First Language asks what form of communication could have existed at the earliest stages of evolution.
NeuroVIZR proposes that Light (electromagnetic radiation) and Sound (mechanical vibration) form the foundations and functions of this First Language.
This offers a way of “Knowing without Thinking”. The NeuroVIZR Experience is therefore described as being created with the elegance and efficiency of a First Language familiar to the mind at a deep level.

Determined exploration and experimentation can lead to discovery, while moments of unexpected originality can emerge in both science and art.
NeuroVIZR presents such a moment: scientific technology enables a new step in artistic expression. The artist and the art form unite as one in NeuroArt.
